lyrics
I take no pride in a persistence award
I take no pride
I take no pride
A flawed logic
A fool’s pledge
You found your love and then you begged it to kill
There will be no ceremony
No lesson learned
Until they take you away
You found your dream and it is yours and yours alone
There will be no second chances
No improvement
Until they take you away
You build your own monument
And you make it over and over and over
The lord of the repeated mistake
Nothing’s sacred
Ego endures
Self-serving effigy, waste of a life but still ego endures
Nothing’s sacred
Ego endures
Self-serving effigy, waste of a life but still ego endures
You build your own monument
You make it over and over and over
The lord of the repeated mistake takes his pride in a persistence award
I take no pride in a persistence award
I take no pride
Yet still I persist

One of the most unsettling albums i have heard in a while. Chat Pile creates a grotesque blend of noise and groove that brings me back everytime. scarface6204

Sure, it's easy to say they sound like Steve Albini with some delay, but that really misses the bigger picture: Albini never used delay. They guys are doing some things that Steve never thought to and that's worth a listen. Gbro
